Intinerary

Day 1: Cai Be - Can Tho

Depart at 8:00 a.m from your hotel, leaving the bustling city behind as you journey into the heart of the Mekong Delta, famously known as Vietnam’s “Rice Bowl.” After a two-hour scenic drive south, you’ll arrive at Cai Be, a vibrant riverside town. Here, board a boat and begin your river cruise, gently gliding along the waterways.

The cruise offers an authentic glimpse into rural life. You’ll visit a small village along the river, where locals produce traditional snacks, handicrafts, and rice paper using age-old techniques. Afterward, enjoy a home-cooked lunch at a local family’s home, savoring delicious Mekong Delta specialties.

Following lunch, continue your cruise to another riverside village renowned for making thatched roofs, an essential material used in traditional Vietnamese cottages. Witness the craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations.

The journey continues as the boat crosses the mighty Mekong River to An Binh Island, where the lush scenery and peaceful ambiance allow you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Delta. Stop at a fruit orchard to sample fresh tropical fruits right from the trees.
