Intinerary
Begin your day with an early pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel, followed by a 1.5-hour drive to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels. Upon arrival, watch a documentary film to better understand the site’s significance during the Vietnam War, then explore the intricate three-level tunnel system that showcases the resilience and ingenuity of Vietnamese fighters. After savoring a local lunch, return to Saigon to continue the day’s journey. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine, where a short film and an impressive collection of artifacts offer insights into Vietnam’s rich heritage of natural healing practices. After a delightful lunch in the city center, we will explore key historical sites associated with the French colonial era and the Vietnam War, including the Central Post Office, the Independence Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. We’ll conclude our city tour with a leisurely walk down Dong Khoi Street, passing notable landmarks such as the Continental Hotel, the Opera House, and the City Hall, before returning to your hotel.

Depart at 8:00 a.m from your hotel, leaving the bustling city behind as you journey into the heart of the Mekong Delta, famously known as Vietnam’s “Rice Bowl.” After a two-hour scenic drive south, you’ll arrive at Cai Be, a vibrant riverside town. Here, board a boat and begin your river cruise, gently gliding along the waterways.
The cruise offers an authentic glimpse into rural life. You’ll visit a small village along the river, where locals produce traditional snacks, handicrafts, and rice paper using age-old techniques. Afterward, enjoy a home-cooked lunch at a local family’s home, savoring delicious Mekong Delta specialties.
Following lunch, continue your cruise to another riverside village renowned for making thatched roofs, an essential material used in traditional Vietnamese cottages. Witness the craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations.
The journey continues as the boat crosses the mighty Mekong River to An Binh Island, where the lush scenery and peaceful ambiance allow you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Delta. Stop at a fruit orchard to sample fresh tropical fruits right from the trees.
Your boat ride concludes in Vinh Long. From there, a comfortable transfer will take you to Can Tho, where you will spend the night and prepare for the next day’s adventures in the Mekong Delta.

Depart early for a memorable motorboat ride to the bustling Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and most vibrant market on the Mekong Delta. Here, hundreds of boats gather to trade fresh produce, fruits, and everyday commodities, offering a colorful and lively glimpse into local river life. After exploring the market, visit a traditional vermicelli and noodle factory, a major supplier for local markets in the region.
Return to the shuttle and continue to Binh Thuy Ancient House, the most beautiful and well-preserved historical home in Can Tho. This charming French-style residence was famously featured in “The Lover”, the film adaptation of Marguerite Duras’s novel recounting a teenage love affair in 1928 colonial Indochina.
Afterwards, embark on a scenic drive toward Chau Doc, a vibrant border town near Cambodia. En route, enjoy a delicious local lunch and visit a crocodile farm in Long Xuyen City. In the afternoon, make a short stop at a local home producing incense sticks, gaining insight into another traditional Mekong craft.
Conclude the day’s journey with check-in at the elegant Victoria Chau Doc Hotel, where you can relax and enjoy views over the river frontier.

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a sampan boat ride to visit the floating village. Here, you’ll observe how the locals live on the water and raise catfish in floating cages. Continue your journey to a Cham village, where you will see the mosques and learn more about the fascinating Cham culture, originally from Malaysia.
We will then savor lunch at one of the town’s renowned restaurants. Afterward, return to the hotel to relax, swim, and rest until 3:00 PM.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic transfer to Tra Su Forest. Explore this beautiful ecological reserve by motorboat and rowing sampan, discovering the rich wildlife that inhabits the forest. This is the best time to visit, as countless birds return to their nests for the night. End your day with a stunning sunset view from Sam Mountain.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and board the shuttle to Sa Dec. Upon arrival, visit the Sa Dec Flower Villages, famous for their vibrant blooms and traditional horticulture. From there, enjoy a leisurely walk to the Sa Dec Old Market along the river, soaking in the local atmosphere.
Make a stop at the historic Huynh Thuy Le House, where you’ll also enjoy a relaxing lunch. After lunch, board the shuttle again to cross the river by ferry and continue the journey to Xeo Quyt — a former Viet Cong base hidden in the forest. Spend some time exploring this historic site, learning about the Mekong Delta’s role during the Vietnam War.
The day concludes with a 3-hour transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Tour End!
